During my first appointment with a counselor,

I experienced a profound sense of being heard and seen, which made me realize the importance of extending this understanding to everyone around me.

Having endured prolonged periods of loneliness, therapy became a transformative journey for me that exceeded my expectations. The path I embarked on to reach this point was challenging, requiring considerable courage, yet has shaped me.

With a Bachelor of Science degree and a minor in Communication earned in 2017, followed by the completion of a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2021, I've consistently pursued academic excellence. In 2023, I secured New York State License in Mental Health Counseling, and in 2024, I achieved certification in ADHD-CCSP, further enhancing my professional qualifications.

My specialization extends to working with a diverse clientele, with a particular focus on women's mental health. Recognizing the unique challenges and nuances that women may face in various stages of life, particularly those in their early 20s and 30s, I provide tailored support that is rooted in a holistic approach.

Having faced my own mental health challenges, such as dealing with ADHD, I am dedicated to empowering others to discover their strengths and develop effective coping strategies so they can shift away from over-functioning and burnout, and steer towards a path of becoming a balanced well-being. 

I approach therapy through a narrative lens, focusing on the identification and reauthoring of different aspects of ourselves. Radical compassion and self-acceptance are fundamental to my therapeutic approach. Together, we will explore and work with the various parts of your being, embracing a trauma-informed and multicultural perspective.

Language deconstruction is an integral part of our sessions. We move away from labeling things as "good" or "bad" and avoiding notions of "right" or "wrong." Instead, we emphasize the concept of tending to the different parts of ourselves. Boundaries are viewed as flexible, allowing us to establish guidelines that are true and authentic to you. We create a safe space where we can navigate the complex and nuanced aspects of your experiences.
