Anxiety is one of the most common challenges I work with, especially in neurodivergent women who have spent years masking, overcompensating, and navigating a world not designed for their unique brains. My approach to anxiety treatment is deeply informed by my understanding of ADHD, AuDHD, and how executive dysfunction, sensory sensitivities, and emotional regulation challenges amplify anxiety symptoms.
Many of the clients I work with face anxiety that stems from a lifetime of feeling different and constantly adjusting to fit into societal molds. Whether it’s social anxiety, high-functioning anxiety, or the overwhelming weight of an overactive nervous system, my focus is on helping clients untangle anxiety from feelings of shame, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. Together, we’ll explore strategies tailored to the neurodivergent brain to empower you to manage anxiety in a sustainable, self-compassionate way.
Together, we’ll develop a toolkit with tailored strategies to manage your anxiety and empower you in your journey. From grounding mindfulness exercises to cognitive reframing techniques, each tool will serve as a way for you to feel more in control of your own emotional narrative.
As we progress, you will gradually shift from fear-driven reactions to mindful, empowered responses. This process of unmasking and discovering healthier coping mechanisms will enable you to cultivate a heightened sense of agency over your emotional experiences.
